LINK RESPONDS TO ARMY SOURCES SOUGHT ON "RATEMAKING"
Link teamed with Ares Corporation to respond
to a Sources Sought notice by the Army's Corp of Engineers (USACE) for
"ratemaking" and related support. The effort is designed to support
the Army as it analyzes the rates it pays for utilities (electricity, water,
etc.) around the U.S. Although this is not an expertise that Link proactively
markets, our broad experience in operating "merchant power
generation" and project development required us to assemble certain
competencies in these areas. Additionally, Link is motivated to expand work
with the USACE in Huntsville, and we believe Link can provide them
energy-related support unequalled by other Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small
Business (SDVOSB).

LINK RESPONDS TO A SPECIAL NOTICE REGARDING ELECTRICITY MARKET ANALYSIS AND FORECASTING
Link "threw its hat in the
ring" when the Army's Corp of Engineers announced it intended to award a
Sole Source contract to a SDVOSB to assist them in electricity market analysis
and forecasting. Although this is not an expertise that Link proactively markets,
our broad experience in operating "merchant power generation",
project development, and other consulting assignments required us to assemble
certain competencies in these areas. Additionally, Link is motivated to expand
work with the USACE in Huntsville, and we believe Link can provide them
energy-related support unequalled by other Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small
Business (SDVOSB).
