Link Resources will be attending the 5th Annual Small Modular Reactor Summit 2015

Link Resources will be attending the 5th Annual Small Modular Reactor Summit 2015 (April 14-15, Charlotte USA) and is preparing an exhibit.

We would like to meet with you at the conference!

Link has secured a small number of discounted passes that we can make available to you.  Our negotiated discount expires Feb 27th!

Link’s passes allow registration at a rate discounted $500 off the Full Rate of $2199 for the Gold Pass and $2399 for Platinum.  To take advantage of Link’s negotiated concession, register online with the discount code LINKRES at: http://www.nuclearenergyinsider.com/smr/register.php.

We are pleased to be associated with this year’s summit since it appears to be taking a whole new direction. Instead of an agenda headed up by vendor technology pitches, this summit has an ambitious focus on tackling the principle regulatory and economic challenges facing SMR commercialization and deployment. Fitch Ratings & Aberdeen Asset Management are to provide unprecedented analysis of a first-of-a-kind SMR financing proposal and the Chief of SMR Licensing Branch, NRC is due to give an exclusive announcement on their progress towards a clear and predictable regulatory framework.   New and renewed participants are expected to include: EDF, PSEG, Fortum, IAEA, Exelon, Areva, Bechtel, Ameren, Mitsubishi, Mirion, Kinectrics, GmP, First Energy, Rolls Royce, NRC, and more.

We hope to see you at the Summit.  When you register, please drop us an email so we can watch for you and set up meetings as you prefer.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact Kerr Jeferies directly at Nuclear Energy Insider kjeferies@nuclearenergyinsider.com    t: +44 207 375 7565

LINK FOCUSES ON CLIENTS WHO WANT SMALL MODULAR REACTORS (SMRs)

Small Modular Reactors (SMRs vary in size from tens of megawatts to several hundreds of megawatts capacity; and there are numerous technologies in development across the world. Although none are in operation today, there are opinions expressed that it may be as soon as "later this year" or as long as seven years before an SMR enters the construction phase. Link's founders had "nukes", and through our many projects and assignments we have not only been able to infuse the appropriate elements of "nuclear competencies" into the fossil fueled and bioenergy facilities, we have also reciprocally have learned lessons on where/when more entrepreneurially-based approaches must be applied. And Link's focus over the past 20 years has always been on the "plant", the corporate infrastructure to support the facility (or fleet of facilities), and on the bottom-line impact to the primary stakeholders - - the owners and investors. We think like the owners, and are often compensated in accordance with "outcomes".
